Chamber Music Intensive

2026 Summer Chamber Music Intensive

June 22-26 | Fine Arts Building, Chicago

Make music. Build community. Have fun.

Join us for a 1-week chamber music workshop designed for middle and high school students who want to develop small ensemble skills and grow as collaborative artists in a supportive, high-level musical environment.

Why Chamber Music?

In small ensembles, every voice matters. Students learn to develop their own point-of-view, lead with confidence while listening to others closely, and make music in community.

Learn from the Best

Led by CYSO Director of Chamber Music Scott Tegge, students work with Chicago’s leading professional chamber musicians and educators.

What the Week Looks Like

  • String Quartets

  • Woodwind Quintets
