Creative Careers in Music Bootcamp

The Creative Careers in Music Bootcamp is a 5-day virtual gathering that Scott leads to help college-level and early-career musicians design fulfilling careers in music. Launched in 2020, this bootcamp helps young professional musicians create meaningful, productive, and sustainable lives in music now and in the future.

Through the bootcamp, Scott shares the values, principles, and practices he has learned in his career to help you invent your own purposeful life in music. You will learn to think creatively about your future, as well as develop actionable skills such as visioning, personal branding, marketing, fundraising, budgeting, public speaking, networking, as well as how to build a successful business for yourself.

The bootcamp will also reflect on the broader social impact that musicians can have in the community. Participants will learn about actions we can each take to become musicians who care equally about the art and the health of our communities.

2025 Bootcamp

Scott is offering the following sessions in 2025. Each session is 5-days long, Monday to Friday.
